Sending thoughts and prayers to the people of Christchurch and wishing the rescuers Godspeed

  1. Yes Suzi - utterly devestating! I left home yesterday morning to spend a lovely day out with my daughter, then on the way home I heard the terrible news ~ earthquake in N.Z.
    How quickly things change. xx

  2. Hi Suzi,

I just can't believe what is happening, so sad and tragic. It brings you to tears, with the loss of life and all the beautiful old buildings.
My heart goes out to all the people living there and my thoughts and prayers are with them.
I just heard on the radio, where they have rescued a Lady and there are 4 people waiting to be rescued, so every life saved is a great thing.
I have just heard that there are scammers, sending out emails, wanting money - so despicable.

    Sending hugs

  3. Yes Dianne - I was on the internet and my hubby sent through some photos of the beautiful Christchurch Cathedral. Half of it was gone. I couldn't believe it. I thought it was a joke but sadly no.
Carolyn, It is so scary - been so far away makes one feel helpless but prayers are strong. Praying for all those dear families and loved ones.
Brittany - it is devastating. I am glued to the news.

  4. Suzi, my daughter and SIL spent 3 weeks in NZ and loved it all. We are all so very sad for the people. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your friends/family there. I hope that they are all safe.

    Big hugs,

  5. Genie, it is a beautiful place and will continue to be so. It is so very tragic but wonderful seeing the response from fellow kiwis. This is when you feel far away. Fortunately my family are in the North Island but still -- very sad.

  6. This is so terrible.
    Very, very sad for NZ
Thank you for showing us Suzi.
